If you want to make a quilt especially for Halloween, I’ve found the project for you. Not only does it incorporate some spooky elements, but it’s done super quickly.

This quilt is beyond easy– all you need are some squares, and triangles cut diagonally from squares. Place your half squares around a bigger square, sew them up, and you’ve got your block!

These blocks can be made with a wide variety of fabrics– even not Halloween related– and it’s such a simple quilt, you can have it done before the holiday comes!

For mine, I used some spooky spider fabric, some with pumpkins, and some with bats. I also free motioned some pumpkins on the quilt itself for an extra touch.

The result was perfect for Halloween, and adds the coolest touch to my couch!
