I love experimenting with different flavors of jam and jelly. From fruits, to sodas like Dr. Pepper and more, I haven’t found a flavor I hate yet.

In fact, I may have found the best flavor yet: Fireball Whisky. I mean, what could be more delicious than cinnamon, whisky, and a little bit of apple to round it all out?

Nothing, I tell you, nothing. Try it out yourself!

What you’ll need to make this is the following:

  • bourbon/whiskey (you can use cinnamon flavored like Fireball instead of the cinnamon sticks if you’d like)
  • fresh apple cider
  • fresh lemon juice
  • powdered pectin
  • white sugar
  • cinnamon sticks
  • ground cinnamon

For exact amounts, check out Putting Up With Erin‘s website by clicking here.

Combine your apple cider and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce your heat, and simmer on low-medium heat for 10 minutes.

Now is when you end up creating the jam consistency with the sugar, pectin, and more. Click here to visit Putting Up With Erin’s website to learn how she does this.

Once you’ve created your jam-like consistency and tested it, remove your cinnamon sticks if you used them. Then, pour the jelly into hot and sterilized jars and process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.

Let cool on a folded towel for 8-12 hours, then you’re ready to use this delicious cinnamon-y jam whenever you have the chance to. No matter what time of year, I can’t get enough of this stuff!

Enjoy!
