Easy Prairie Flower
In need of an easy quilt, fast? You just found it, and not only is it incredibly gorgeous, it’s so easy and fun to make, and it’s done in a flash!
Once again, this quilt pattern comes from Jenny Doan at Missouri Star Quilt Company. This gorgeous little flower is created with 2 blocks, both of which are super easy to make.
If you want to get started on creating your own beautiful little prairie flower quilt, let’s start with what you’ll need to do it:
How To Stitch It Up
With just 3 different fabrics, this little quilt is done in a flash. The whole block is made from 3 different blocks: 1 that’s solid background fabric, and 2 that have a lot in common, as different as they look.
Both blocks involve clipping off the corners and sewing background corners on to those clipped bits, but which corners are clips makes all the difference.
The petal blocks are two corners on the top clipped, while the leaves are the adjacent corners. You’ll do 4 of each of these, and the solid block in the middle to create the finished product.
Watch Jenny sew it up in the video below, then get to sewing your own. It’s the easiest quilt ever, and it’s absolutely stunning once it’s done!
