When the seasons change, I always find I’m using my chapstick so much more than usual. If I’m not careful, my lips can get so dry that I feel like chapstick just doesn’t cut it anymore.

That’s when a good lip scrub comes in. Instead of buying an expensive formula, I made mine myself using the video tutorial below, and it works so well. I love how my lips feel after and it tastes so good!

What you will need is:

  • 1 tbsp sugar (white or brown works, just don’t use powdered sugar)
  • 1/2 tsp. oil of your choice (she uses olive)
  • Flavoring of choice (vanilla extract, peppermint extract, etc.)
  • Optional food coloring (keep in mind this could temporarily stain your lips)

Just mix all of the ingredients together, put it in your container of choice, and you’re ready to use it!

All you need to do is use circular motions to scrub off all of your dead skin, and then wipe it off. You can even lick the scrub off if you want to!

Moisturize your lips with your favorite chapstick and your lips will be perfectly soft and kissable.

What flavor will yours be?
