Ocean Nails
This summer, blue nails have been my obsession. Little did I know that with one easy hack, I could make my nails look like the water I’ve been swimming in this season!
These nails come from HannahRoxNails on YouTube. I always love her nail looks, but something about these is particularly amazing. They’re just so pretty!
Once you finish the cute ocean design that’s outlined below in our instructions and HannahRoxNails’ video, you can add little twists if you like.
Paint on a little fish, or a pool floaty, or some sand… the choice is yours! Regardless, you’ll be obsessed with these nails guaranteed. You can’t go wrong with these!
How To Do It
First, apply the base coat of your choice. Use a light blue polish for your base color. Then, once that dries, use a darker blue on top.
Crumple up some ceran wrap, and begin tapping over this second polish while it’s still wet. It will create the ocean-like texture you see in the final product.
Clean up the edges of your nail with nail polish remover and a brush. From here, apply a top coat. I’d use a plumping one to make the nail feel completely smooth.
Once everything is completely dry, you’re done! This are the summeriest nails I’ve ever had, and needless to say, I’m obsessed. I’ll be wearing this all summer long!
