Photo booths are a huge hit lately. I see them at weddings, birthday parties, baby showers… they’re everywhere!
Making a photo booth with a ton of props, a cute backdrop, and more is surprisingly easy.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- A camera or iPad
- Tripod and/or someone to take photos
- Cardboard
- Spray paint/Glitter Spray/Chalkboard Spray
- Scissors
- Marker
- Ruler
- Thrift/Dollar Store picture frame(s)
- Hot Glue/E600
- Skewers/Sticks
- A large piece of paper/fabric for your backdrop and a way to hang it
All you need to do is trace some shapes on to your cardboard, cut them out, spray paint them, and glue them to your prop sticks. Some suggestions are mustaches, crowns, glasses, lips, and cowboy hats.
You can also make props out of old frames. Just spray some paint on them and you’ve got a great prop! A polaroid picture frame can be made out of cardboard, chalkboard paint, and chalk.
The possibilities are really endless here!
As for the booth itself, hang up your backdrop. Then place your iPad on your tripod or have your photographer set up, and boom, it’s all ready!
Whatever photos you end up taking with this, it’s sure to be legendary!
