Over the years, I’ve seen some incredible craft work from people, but I have to say this is probably the most insane project I’ve ever seen anyone create.

These little cats are made of felted wool. The artist is Wakuneco Wool Felt on YouTube, and what she does with a needle and felted wool in incredible.

Basically what she does is take a piece of felt and use a needle and pins to push in the felted wool into more wool, creating a 3D image of a cat along the way.

With plastic or glass eyes, added whiskers, and multiple colors of felt, Sachi takes a cat “model” and turns them into a work of art.

Once done, each one of the little kitties is mounted into a wooden frame and given a personalized finishing touch.

I can’t get enough of how cute these are. I kind of want to give this a try for myself! I doubt mine will get anywhere close to this level of skill, but still, it has me inspired!
