Cloud Slime

Slime is so much fun to make and play with. It’s a classic internet recipe that has been popular for years, not only because of how much fun it is, but because of how many variations there are!

My favorite variation is cloud slime, which has a springy, airy quality to it. In addition to your classic slime, you just need one ingredient to make this slime the most unique you’ll ever play with.

Wanna make it yourself? Let’s get started.

What you’ll need to make it:

  • 1/2 cup white glue
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp. borax dissolved in 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. expanding snow, dry (adjust as necessary)
  • 1 pump lotion (optional, loosens it up as you knead)
  • food coloring and scent (optional)

Making The Cloud

First, thoroughly mix together your white glue and water. Then, add your borax solution a little bit at a time until a slime forms. Knead it together well.

Add your dry expanding snow, and kneed well for a long time. At first it will firm up and seem like a total fail, but keep at it. Rub a pump of lotion into your hands if you’d like, and continue kneading.

Then, if you want, add your food coloring and scent to the slime. When you’re all done, you’ll notice the snow has expanded to create a gorgeous cloud-like effect.
