Though some people keep them as pets, most people are slightly creeped out by snakes. In fact, snakes are a very common element in Halloween decor– and one of the cheapest options.

You can usually find rubber snakes at the dollar store, sometimes in packs. So for just a few dollars, you can cover your house in creepy crawlies.

Or, you can take those dollar store snakes and turn them into something a little more horrifying: a wreath made entirely out of them!

With a wooden wreath and those dollar store snakes, you can seriously creep out your guests before they even step inside! Here’s how to make it.

What you’ll need is:

  • 1 twig-like wreath. You can find this at most craft stores
  • A ton of rubber and plastic snakes
  • Black spray paint
  • Hot glue & hot glue gun

First, spray paint all of your snakes and your wreath. Wait for both the wreath and the snakes to dry completely.

Then, arrange your snakes in a way that you like on the wreath and begin hot gluing them on. Make sure you keep it flat while doing this so the snakes adhere properly.

That’s it, just two steps and the wreath is done! This is probably the easiest Halloween decoration you’ll ever make.
