The beloved movie, starring Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, has captured the hearts of millions since the first movie’s release in 1995. So much so, in fact, that the fourth installment is on its way.

I grew up loving Toy Story. My little brother and I were Jessie and Woody for Halloween as kids, and I loved going to the theater to watch the first three.

Needless to say, I’m excited for the 4th movie. So excited, in fact, that when I saw these cookies, I nearly screamed, and I knew I needed to make them for myself.

When I found the tutorial, I decided to share it with you, too. If you’re excited for Toy Story 4 as I am, then you can celebrate with these adorable and easy alien cookies!

Just in case you don’t recognize these adorable little dudes, they’re alien toys from the claw machine in the first Toy Story movie. They make even more adorable cookies!

Wanna make these babies yourself? I don’t blame ya. Here’s what you’ll need to get started.

Making The Aliens

Truth be told, you can use any cookie you’d like to make these little aliens. What matters is the decoration, and doing that properly involves some cookie cutters.

For the head, you’ll use a football-shaped cutter. For the body, use a small gingerbread man, overlapping the head over where you just cut out the football. That’s your basic alien shape once stuck together.

Press the seams of those two cuttings together. Bake your cookies as you normally would, and then it’s time to make the little aliens!

With green icing, add a little football-shaped head inside the football cookie, leaving room for an antennae. This will also simulate an astronaut’s helmet!

Once the frosting dries a bit, add the antennae on top and the ears on the side of the head. Allow all of this to dry for about an hour. Use a dark blue to add shoes and a medium blue for the cuffs on the wrists.

Add 3 white eyes to the head, and draw on your spacesuit out of the medium blue. Use black to add a mouth, and once the eyes have dried, use the green for eyelids.

Pipe on some pupils with the black, then add lips around the mouth with the green. Add a purple collar to the dry spacesuit, and a dark blue belt. Then that’s it, you’re done!
