Dachshunds, also knows as wiener dogs, are just too cute, especially when they’re in quilt form! Who could possibly resist this? When I ran across this tutorial, I just knew I had to make one!

I’m always drawn to anything dog-related. I’m also drawn to super simple and unique projects. This combines all three, and even beginning quilters could do a lot of this without any help!

The majority of the quilt is made up of jelly roll pieces or scraps, making this a convenient quilt too. All you need to do for the dog’s body is stitch together some little strips!

This quilt looks terrific hanging on a wall just as much as it does laying on a bed. I made this for my daughter, and she’s a self-professed “crazy dog lady.” She absolutely loves it!

I mean, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love wiener dogs? I don’t mind being labeled a crazy dog lady if I’m surrounded by those cuties.

I was pretty surprised at how quickly I was able to make one of these quilts. I used my left over scrap fabrics to make mine, so the cost was minimal. So quick, easy and cheap!

Watch how Jordan Fabrics makes this in the step by step tutorial below so you can get started putting your scraps to work too!
