I feel like everyone is obsessed with Starbucks to an extent. Whether you’re a constant customer or you just stop by to have a Pumpkin Spice Latte during the fall, this coffee giant is part of everyone’s life.
So have you ever thought of using that cup you drink out of for a Halloween costume?
No, I’m not talking about literally using it, but it can make great inspiration. Namely, the logo!
The Starbucks girl is recognized by everyone, and it’s actually a super creative and easy costume to make!
All you need is:
- A white t-shirt (see note)
- Green paint (see note)
- Popsicle sticks (see note)
- Glue (see note)
- Green poster board
- White poster board
- Masking tape
- White face paint
- Green face paint
- Green eyeshadow
- White powder
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- Bobby pins
- Rotary cutter/ X acto knife
- Nail file
- Rubber bands
- Stapler
Note: if you have blonde, wavy hair, you can use white and green colored hairspray to make the hair instead of the t-shirt, green paint, popsicle sticks, and glue!
If you don’t have blonde hair, you can simulate the Starbucks girl’s hair by laying out a white t-shirt on some poster board and painting the shirt with green, wavy lines.
Cut out the shape, glue on popsicle sticks, and bobby pin the hair into place. Then, on to the makeup. Use green and white face paint as well as green eyeshadow and white powder to copy her face and set it.
As for the background circle, put your hair in a ponytail and cut out a piece of green poster board. Use a ribbon to keep it in place. Create the crown with white poster board, and you’re done!
