If you do have kids and need a no-hassle toy for the playroom, kinetic sand is a quick and easy DIY when you’re in a pinch. You only need a few things to make this awesome recipe.
You’ll Need:
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/8 cup liquid detergent
- 1 cup shaving cream
- Optional food coloring if you want a particular color
Putting it together is even easier than gathering the ingredients.
All you have to do is mix everything together and that’s it! Store in an airtight container and have it ready to go whenever a little one (or you, no judgement,) wants to play!
Kinetic sand can also make an awesome gift. Brooke suggests packing the sand with little buried treasures, and it’s a great favor for kids at birthday parties!
