There’s all kinds of ways to stitch your quilt layers together, but I found this particular way to be gorgeous and I wanted to share it with you.

Laura from Sew Very Easy calls the stitch she does in this tutorial “letter C’s”. She says once you learn this basic stitch, you can do a lot of variations of it. It’s a must-know!

She uses marathon thread and fusible batting to make it easier for her. She says you can use any machine for this, but she uses her Bernina.

When you stitch this design, you want to do it in quarters so you’re not having to twist the quilt around and you’re working in that one area.

Laura also suggests keeping a song or a beat in mind while you do this stitch, that way you keep up the same speed while stitching it together!

Watch how Laura does this in her great step by step tutorial so you can learn all the tips you need to do this simple stitch.
