The Perfect Baked Chicken
What’s better than a delicious meal that’s super easy to make, is done in under an hour, and doesn’t take a lot of ingredients? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
This chicken falls under this category and it’s incredible. When we came up with this recipe, I was a little on the fence… I mean, mayonnaise, baked on?
I can’t believe I never thought of it earlier. Not only does it keep the chicken nice and moist, but it gives the chicken a ton of flavor, and a great crust when mixed with the garlic and parmesan.
Just trust me, you NEED to try this. Let’s get started.
The ingredients you’ll need are:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 4 chicken breast cutlets
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 4-5 tsp. dry bread crumbs
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Start by mixing together the mayonnaise, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese in a bowl. Place your chicken cutlets in a pan lined with parchment paper, then coat the chicken in the mixture.
Add the salt and lemon pepper to the chicken, then pop it in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Once it’s out, add your bread crumbs. Pop it in for another 20 minutes, then let it cool, slice it up, and serve!
This will be a weeknight go-to for you as soon as you give it a shot. Seriously, this chicken is beyond delicious!
