When I’m doing some heavy duty baking, I love wearing an apron. Not only does it protect my clothes, but it looks adorable on.

Even better? They’re super simple to make, especially if they’re the super cute vintage-looking half apron. I love how it looks and it doesn’t take long at all to sew up.

Just measure the distance across your hips, then add a couple of inches. Decide the length you want, cut in a “U” shape, and you have your apron piece.

From there, you can add whatever you want. This pattern has a pocket, ruffle trim, and a waistband. This is what you need to get it done.

I’ve whipped a few of these up for myself, but I’ve also made some as gifts and they never steer me wrong. They look absolutely adorable on everyone!
