Spring is coming to a close very soon, and it seems that all of my neighbors have already done their spring cleaning.
I on the other hand, haven’t, and I really need to get on that before summer arrives.
Most of my neighbors take their blinds out of their windows and bring them outside. I’ve watched them hose them off all season, and frankly, I don’t want to do it. It takes too much time!
If you’re like me and haven’t cleaned yet (I know plenty of you haven’t, you can admit it,) then this easy dollar store cleaning hack will save your life.
Here’s what you need:
- Tongs
- Microfiber towels
- Rubber bands
- Either dryer sheets (to use dry) or wet sweeper mop refills (to use wet)
Just wrap microfiber cloths around each tong. Then wrap your dryer sheet or wet sweeper refill and secure with a rubber band.
Use the tongs to grab each side of the blind and drag it along. All of the grime will come right off!
My blinds were clean in no time at all, and yours will be clean in no time, too.
