Tangled Geese

I love blocks that look incredibly complicated when assembled together. This “tangled geese” block by Jenny Doan at Missouri Star Quilt Company fits that bill perfectly.

Not only that, but it’s so easy to make! Putting it together makes it looks complicated, but you can have a block done in just a couple of minutes… just look at how fast Jenny puts it together!

Don’t take my word for it. Make your own! If you want to get started on making your own, you’ll need some supplies, including the following:

A Simple Block

Creating this tangled geese block couldn’t be any easier. You’ll need three types of fabric per block. One portion will be 3 triangles, and the other will be a strip and a triangle.

The smaller triangles of one half will match the small triangle on the other, and as you can see in the supplies graphic above, the small triangle on the right side is a colored piece of fabric.

I like working on this block in halves, which makes it much easier in my opinion. Watching Jenny’s tutorial below makes it incredibly simple.

So with that in mind, it’s time to make your own. Have fun and good luck!
