Fruity Popsicles
When it’s hot outside, nothing hits the spot quite like a fruity popsicle. Over the years I’ve gone to ice cream trucks specifically for frozen fruit pops, and that’s not gonna stop any time soon.
What should stop is all the added ingredients. Let’s be honest: as much as frozen fruit pops taste good, there’s a ton of added ingredients in there that we probably shouldn’t be eating so much.
Those ingredients? Added sugars, preservatives, artificial flavorings, corn syrup, and more. There’s a way to get all of that delicious flavor in your life without having to eat those, too.
The answer lies in the form of a smoothie pop. Sara Lynn from The Domestic Geek is back at it again with the recipe– or should I say recipes. She’s made 3 smoothie pops you’re going to drool over!
3 popsicle recipes may be all she provided us with, but you can give them any twist you’re craving by adding or removing any smoothie ingredients you’d like!
Just Peachy Smoothie Pops
- frozen peach slices
- vanilla yogurt
- orange juice
Very Berry Bliss Smoothie Pops
- mixed berries
- vanilla yogurt
- unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Hawaiian Cream Smoothie Pops
- diced pineapple
- diced mango
- banana
- coconut beverage
No matter which recipe you decide to choose, making them is the same for each of these: place all ingredients into a blender, pulse until smooth, and pour into a silicone popsicle mold.
Add your popsicle sticks and let it freeze completely. Take them out of the mold and they’re ready to eat!
