A Gorgeously Easy Quilt
Finding a colorful, eye-catching quilt that’s easy to make is like finding a needle in a haystack. Most exciting blocks are extremely difficult to make.
Not this one, though. It’s called the Stack & Flip and not only is it incredibly easy to make, it’s a stunner to look at, and extremely unique.
Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Company is back again with another tutorial, this time for this Stack & Flip number. This quilt is so simple, you’ll barely even need the tutorial.
Now with that in mind, let’s get started on making this quilt. Here’s what you’re gonna need:
Stitchin’ It Up
This couldn’t be any easier to make. It all starts by sewing up a ton of strips. You can go with whatever color palette you’d like, but Jenny went with a rainbow of different strips.
You’ll also need some sashing and border fabric to get this quilt stitched up, as well as 5 yards of backing. After stitching together these strips, you’ll cut them up and add the sashing in between.
Add your border fabric around the sewn up strips, and you’re pretty much done. All you’ll need is some batting and your backing fabric, along with any free motion you want to do.
Seriously, it really is that easy. Don’t believe me? Watch Jenny’s tutorial below!
