Here’s a project to get you in the spirit: a Christmas tree quilt! This cute Christmas tree quilt is made like a Chevron, so not only is it in the spirit, it’s easy, too!

Jenny from Missouri Star Quilt Company stitches this up in her video tutorial, and it’s done in no time. Here’s what you’ll need to get this quilted:

Getting each block put together is incredibly easy. They’re all just half square triangles! Use your green fabric and a background fabric to create 4 equal sized half square triangles.

Arrange those square so the green parts all touch one another, forming an arrow shape. Take those arrows, form them into a tree shape, and the basic outline is done!

Now you need to add your star on top and trunk at the bottom. Luckily, these are easy too!

The trunk is just a block of brown fabric, and the star is a block that overlaps the top.

Watch Jenny sew those up in the video below and give it a shot yourself! Happy Holidays!
