Christmas is on its way! It’s time to decorate for the holidays, so family and friends feel the Christmas spirit as soon as they walk into your home.
One of the most iconic images of Christmas is the tree. After you’re done hanging your tinsel, stringing your popcorn and putting up your actual Christmas tree, there’s one more thing you need to do.
Sew up a Christmas tree quilt!
Not only is it an easy quilt to sew up, but it adds a warm and cozy touch to your guest room, couch, or wherever else you need a little holiday cheer!
Donna Jordan from Jordan Fabrics shows you how to create this super simple quilt from start to finish. For the most part, all you’ll need to complete it are strips of fabric and some background fabric.
What comes out is a strange concoction of half square triangles made of all sorts of fabrics, and eventually, you’ll sew it all up to form the most gorgeous tree you’ve ever seen.
Want to give it an extra holiday touch? Applique some ornaments or a tree topper on to the tree, and you’re done!
