The Rose Garden Quilt
Lately, I’ve been looking for a quilt that wouldn’t take a lot of effort but definitely LOOKED like it did. I wanted something perfect for spring, and something I had never seen before.
Then, I found it.
Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Company is back again with another stunning quilt. This time, it’s the “Rose Garden” quilt, and it’s just as easy to make as it is mesmerizing to look at.

How To Make It
Making this quilt couldn’t be any easier. There are 3 block types that make this all come together: a solid square, a half square triangle, and a triangular block.
The first two of the three blocks are so classic, they probably don’t need an explanation. The first one is a simple square: just cut it to the size you need and you’re done.
As for the half square triangle, there’s a trick to get multiple done at once: stack your squares together and draw a diagonal line down both sides. Sew on each side of both of the lines, then cut along the lines.
Once those are cut and pressed, you’ve got 4 half square triangles! Now, you can finish your last block: the triangle.
Sew two strips to a square, one on either side at an angle. Trim and press open, and you’re done with that block!
