Some of my favorite desserts on the planet are red velvet cake, cheesecake, and brownies. Never in my life did I think I’d see them all combined into one amazing thing, but I was wrong.

I don’t know about you, but I’ll be making these all the time. Want to make them yourself? Here’s how.
To make this you will need:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp salt
- red food coloring
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
8oz cream cheese, softened at room temperature

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
To put this all together, you’ll be making two separate things: the red velvet batter, and the cream cheese filling. Start with the red velvet batter, and create the icing in a separate bowl.

Pour your red velvet batter into an 8″x8″ square baking pan, reserving 1/4 of it. Add your cream cheese filling, swirl it, then add the rest of your batter, swirling again. Now it’s time to bake.
