The Ultimate Chicken Wings
There’s nothing more satisfying to me than some nice, crispy chicken wings. Whether they’re classic buffalo, garlic parmesan, or honey barbecue, they’re always delicious.
My personal favorite is an Atlanta, Georgia classic: lemon pepper wings. The acidity of the lemon and the fruity spiciness of the black pepper balance each other out perfectly, especially with the other spices in Diva Can Cook‘s lemon pepper seasoning.
I’ve had a ton of lemon pepper wings, but none like this. The flavor profile is perfect, and you just need to try it. Wanna make them yourself? Here’s how.
For the wings:
- chicken wings, washed and dried thoroughly
- flour
- lemon pepper seasoning (you can find the recipe for that by clicking here)
For the lemon butter:
- butter
- cracked black pepper
- sea salt
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- lemon juice
How To Make The Wings
These wings are super easy to make. First, make your lemon pepper seasoning as described on the written recipe. You can find that by clicking here.
Once that’s done, drizzle chicken lightly with olive oil and toss with 1 teaspoon of the prepared lemon pepper seasoning. Mix flour and ½ teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning in a bowl or paper bag.
Lightly coat the chicken in the flour mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flour to absorb a bit. From here, you’ll fry the chicken.
