Scrabble is one of my favorite games. It’s always been so much fun to come up with crazy words and see how high of a score you could get.

In the spirit of Scrabble, I found these super cute pillows that replicate the tiles! I decided to give this DIY pillow a try, and I love how they turned out. They look too cute on my bed.

Here’s how to make them.

You will need:

  • A pillow
  • A pillow cover
  • A package of iron-on transfer paper
  • An iron
  • A printer
  • A pair of scissors
  • A roll of measuring tape

You can use any font you’d like in order to make these Scrabble tile pillows, but if you’d like to have an authentic Scrabble look, you should find a font online that closely matches.

YouTuber simpleDIYs uses a font called “News Gothic” in order to achieve the look of a Scrabble tile.

Open a Word document and type your letter of choice as large as you’d like it to be– the larger the letter, the more tile-like the pillow will end up looking.

Find the number that corresponds to your letter, or use a number that means something to you. Make the number about 1/4 the size of your letter.

Flip your letter so it’s a mirror image of the original letter and number. Print these out on your iron-on transfer paper, cut them out, and iron them on to your pillow cover.

You can measure out where you want these letters/numbers to go with your measuring tape.

Then that’s it, you’re done!
