Out of all of the jewelry projects I’ve done in the past, this is by far the easiest one. Believe it or not, a bracelet made out of safety pins is not only super simple to make, but stylish, too.

Making these bracelets takes no time at all, and they look so cool layered with other bracelets. I learned how to do this from Nava Hannah on YouTube.

Her tutorial is quick and to-the-point. Anyone can learn how to do this, and here’s how!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Scissors
  • Small beads
  • Elastic string
  • Safety pins

First, use your string to measure the circumference of your wrist. Add about 6 inches more to this string, and cut that piece. Then measure and cut out a second one just like it.

Take the ends of one side and tie them into a knot.

Take your safety pins, open them, and put your beads on each needle. Once you’ve beaded the amount you like, close each pin off.

Then, bead your safety pins on to your elastic strings up to the knot. Keep adding them, making sure all of the beads on your safety pins are facing forward and you alternate where the top and bottom go.

Double knot each side once it’s done, then tie it all together into a stretchy bracelet.

That’s it, you’re done! Watch Nava’s video below to learn more.

I can’t wait to show mine off with a stack of bracelets, some skinny jeans and a band shirt. How are you going to wear yours?
