This infinity scarf tutorial by Melanie Ham lets you create your own scarf in no time, and the infinity scarf looks perfect with almost any outfit!

The infinity scarf is an easy project for beginning crocheters that will end up getting a lot of use during these chilly months. The best part? Not only is there a video tutorial, there’s a free written pattern, too!

Here’s how to do it.

Start with a slip knot, then chain 70 or about 70 inches. You can always adjust this depending on whatever size you’d like, making it smaller or larger.

Connect the long chain into a circle using a slip stitch, being careful not to twist it. For all 3 loops, pull the yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull through, yarn over, pull through in the next stitch over.

Do this in each stitch all the way around as well. Continue around until your desired size is reached. Melanie’s ended up being 8 rows. Finish off and weave in ends, and you’re done!
