If you’ve never had Nashville Hot Chicken before, you are in for quite the treat. This rich, spicy, tangy chicken may be the best chicken you’ll ever have.
Not only does this chicken have an insane amount of flavor packed in to each piece, but that southern kick is so hot, that it makes a great cold-weather meal.
This awesome recipe comes from Chef John at Food Wishes. It’s super easy to put together, so if you’re in the mood to heat up, you can make this for dinner this week!
What you’ll need is:

First, you need to cut up your chicken into 8 pieces, and toss it with 1 tablespoon of kosher salt. Place it in the refrigerator overnight, and you can go on to make your brine.
Mix together buttermilk, pickle juice, hot sauce, and 1 large egg. Then you can put your chicken in to brine!
