5-Minute Cake

Ever craved a chocolate cake so badly that your only option was to go to the store immediately and buy one? Well, that’s not your only option anymore.


Now, you can make an incredibly chocolatey cake using bourbon biscuit cookies. It only takes 5 minutes to make, and all you need to bake it is a microwave!

If you love chocolate cake as much as I do, this is probably the best news you’ve ever heard. I was so excited I could have fainted, so I won’t keep you waiting any longer.

Here’s how to make it!

You will need:

  • bourbon biscuit cookies (if you can’t find these, any kind of biscuit cookie will work, and you can add other ingredients as needed)
  • powdered sugar
  • baking powder
  • milk
  • milk chocolate
  • whipping cream
  • garnish like chocolate chips, nuts, or fresh fruit

Making The Cake

Start by crushing the bourbon biscuit cookies into a fine powder. From here, add in your powdered sugar and your baking powder. Add your milk in batches.

Mix together until it forms a moist batter. Put it in a greased microwave-safe pan lined with parchment paper. Pour in your batter and microwave for 5 minutes.

Once it’s out, check with a knife to make sure it comes out clean. In a separate bowl, put some milk chocolate and whipping cream together.

Microwave in intervals, stirring until melted, then pour over the cake. Top with any garnishes you’d like and you’re all done!
