I had never heard of alcohol art until recently, but it’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen, especially in the realm of DIY.
The best thing about these gorgeous pieces of art is they’re all completely one-of-a-kind, easy to do, abstract, and really fun to work on. That, and it’s pretty cheap!
What you’ll need to do this is some alcohol ink in multiple colors of your choice, an alcohol blending solution, colored poster board of your choice, and a frame you’d like to put it all in with a glass piece.
Basically, all you’re gonna do is lay down the glass piece of the frame on a work surface you don’t mind getting a little messy. Squirt on some alcohol blending solution, then drip on your colored ink.
Do this one color at a time, picking up the glass and moving the ink around as you go. Keep building the colors however you’d like them until it looks good to you.
Put your poster board on the alcohol art, then secure on the frame, and you’re done!
