Spring Rain
Spring is almost here. You know what that means? No more winter fabrics, no. Instead, it’s time to bring out those pastels and floral prints and make those spring quilts!
Wanna get a jump start on those spring patterns? Then you’ll love this “Spring Rain” quilt by Missouri Star Quilt Company. Jenny Doan sews it up in her video tutorial.
With all of that in mind, let’s get started on the Spring Rain pattern. You’ll need to gather some supplies to start sewing. Here’s what you’ll need.
Stitchin’ It Up
Making this block is a breeze. Each of the four corners is made of a half square triangle, with the center sashing made up of tiny squares.
You’ll need 4 different colored fabrics to achieve this final look. Start by creating the corners with two of the four fabrics. Each of these is an identical half square triangle.
As for the other two fabrics, sew together strips of the fabrics to create a strip set of 5. You’ll also need some pairs of squares of the same size, as Jenny shows.
