Hashtag Quilt
Have you ever been looking for a modern quilt pattern, only to stumble upon the classics again and again? There’s nothing wrong with those beauties, but sometimes I want something totally different.
I’ve found quite a few unique quilt patterns over the years, but nothing quite like this. It’s a hashtag quilt, and it’s absoultely adorable.
Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Company is back again with this super cute pattern. It’s a super easy block to make, and when you lay the whole quilt out, it’s just stunning.
Want to make it yourself? Here’s what you’ll need to get started.
The basic block you’ll be making is kind of like a 7 patch, except you’ll be doing a 20 patch instead. Trust me, it sounds a lot harder than it actually is.
In fact, it’s so easy, I got these blocks done in just a few hours, and the quilt was done in just a few days!
There’s a single border on one side of each block. Once laid out, the anatomy of the block makes a ton of sense. The borders come together to outline every hashtag and it separates them perfectly.
