Nutella bread sounds amazing when it’s warm and chocolatey. This recipe by Cooking With May Lynn on YouTube shows up close to how easy it is to make Nutella bread. I’ve always wanted to make bread, but I’ve been lazy. There are only a few ingredients required to make this recipe and it’s perfect for a midday snack or breakfast with a cup of coffee. This tutorial is self-explanatory and she does an amazing job adding the directions with subtitles on the screen. I love being able to follow along on-screen with the video.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1 tsp yeast
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 8g sugar
- 2g salt
- 30g butter
- 3-5 tbsp Nutella
Directions:
First, to make the hand made dough, watch Cooking With May Lynn’s dough video on YouTube. Cut the dough into 6 pieces, then roll out each piece into a larger pancake. Put 1/2 tsp of Nutella on the center of the round flat dough, then begin pinching the edges of the pancake back into a dough form.
Next, roll out the Nutella filled dough into an oval-shaped pancake. Make a series of cuts on the pancake. Roll the dough horizontally and put the two sides together to connect like a croissant. Continue to watch Cooking With May Lynn video on YouTube for the rest of the baking process.
Overall, these look amazing and the presentation of the bread from the small cuts makes it look fancy. The Nutella bread looks so intricate and delicious. I love Nutella so this is a great simple recipe to try out. Once you have a dough base, all you need to do is fill it up with Nutella in the center. Plus, if you do not want it this shape or style, you can just turn it into a roll or square.
