When I found this awesome oil drum sink video tutorial by Cynthia Gauthier on YouTube, I really fell in love with it. Cynthia takes a vintage-looking oil drum and just cuts a square hole in the top for the sink bowl, then cut a square hole in the side to fit the plumbing in. The only catch to this is you may need some welding skills. If you do not have the tools to cut the oil drum, you could take it to a machine shop and they would be happy to do it for you. The overall look is very cool and vintage and would look cute in any workshop type of space. I was thinking I could install one of these in my garage since there is already plumbing for the washing machine present, it could work.
