Old tires are one of many items that can end up in a landfill, and the sad truth is that tires can provide an excellent raw material for many DIY projects. I have made quite a few things from old tires, like the classic tire swing. I recently found this wonderful tire seat video tutorial by DIY & Crafts on YouTube, and I couldn’t wait to make a couple for the back porch. There is really nothing to making this simple tire seat project and it looks absolutely amazing!
Materials For Tire Seat:
- 2 to 3 tires
- Some bungee cord
- A drill
- A yardstick
- A chalk marker
Directions:
In this wonderful tire seat video tutorial by DIY & Crafts on YouTube, you will learn how to make this quick and easy tire seat. You start by using your yardstick and chalk, to mark the places you will drill the holes in your tire. You then drill one hole per mark.
Then, just lace your bungee cord across the tire and secure underneath the lip of the tire.
This DIY tire seat is so adorable, I plan on making several to surround a small table I made for the kids.
