Our phones are practically glued to us. They come with us everywhere, we’re always using them, and a lot of the time, they reflect who we are.

Case in point (no pun intended), our phone cases. Whether you use a plain clear case or go all out with a pattern, it shows off your personality all while protecting your phone.

That’s why when I saw this DIY phone case hack, I knew it was something I needed to share with you guys. 

If you have some iron-on heat transfer paper, an iron, and a clear phone case, then you’ve got a cheap customized phone case at the ready.

First, print out your photo on the heat transfer paper. If there are words involved, or images that need to face a certain way, be sure to print a mirror image.

Now, place the image face down on the inside of the phone case and use your iron to apply heat until the image transfers.

Place the case with the paper into cold water and begin rubbing away the paper until the image shows up. Dry it off, and you’re ready to put the phone case on your phone!
