Jenny from Missouri Star Quilt Company calls this “Grandmother’s Fan,” aptly named because of its resemblance to a hand fan. So cute right?

Making this is pretty easy, and a block doesn’t take a lot of time to stitch up. I was really surprised as to how fast this quilt came together! Want to give it a try yourself?

Believe it or not, if you know how to make a classic Dresden, then this is going to be a breeze for you. Create your classic Dresden pattern with your patterned squares.

Then, you’ll cut those to fit the corner of you 10″ squares, and add some top stitches. Once you add your quarter circles in the corner, you’re done with your block.

I know, I couldn’t believe it either. How much easier could a block possibly get?
