Its whimsical, colorful, and gorgeous design is something you’ll be showing off every chance you get, and it’s perfect for those nights at the beach.

This stunning little number once again comes from Jenny Doan at Missouri Star Quilt Company. As per usual, she gives us an easy-to-follow tutorial that makes this quilt a breeze.

To get started, you’ll first need to gather your supplies. Here’s exactly what Jenny used. For brands and prints, check out her video below.

Building The Quilt

These blocks are beyond easy. Each is 8″ when finished, and all it is are some strips and a half square triangle. Whether you’re a novice quilter or an expert, you can sew this, guaranteed.

The bottom corner is a small half square triangle, the top is a long strip, and the rest are filled in by smaller strips. I could practically sew this block with my eyes closed!

Once you sew 4 of these blocks, you can arrange them to create the kaleidoscope-like pattern you see in the finished quilt top. Then, add your borders, batting, and backing.

Finish off the quilt with any free motion that will add to the quilt top, and your quilt is complete! Talk about easy, right?

For more details on how to sew this quilt up from scratch, check out Jenny’s video below. Once you give this a try, you’ll have the finished quilt done in no time!
