Chef John at Food Wishes whips up these delicious little cookies on his YouTube channel. If you want to make them yourself, here’s how!

You will need:

  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. ground ginger (3 if you like it spicy)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark molasses

For the rest of the ingredients, including the filling, check out Chef John’s blog by clicking here.

Before you start mixing together your cookies and the icing, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

From there, you can prepare your cookie batter. Want to learn how to do that perfectly? Watch Chef John’s Food Wishes video below.

Once your cookies have cooled completely, you can add your icing (you can learn how to make that in the video below as well), then sandwich them together.

Watch the video down below in order to get these cookies going in your oven. Whether you’re cooking in honor of the holiday spirit or just love ginger, these will become favorites of yours instantly.

Just give them a try, and you’ll see what I mean!
