I love to find great hacks for all kinds of activities, even if the activities are pretty easy, there’s always something new in the way of doing ordinary activities that I hadn’t thought of. I love this video because it has so many different ideas and hacks from using double-sided tape to making gift bags out of ordinary wrapping paper, to my favorite, making a bow out of Christmas Wrapping Paper. To start your bow you just cut a 6-inch wide length out of your wrapping paper, then fold it in half and cut fringe along the whole doubled section, then roll it together and tape!

The gift bags in the video are awesome as well. I love giving a gift bag gift during the holiday season, but they can get expensive. I always save and reuse all the gift bags I come across, but I inevitably run out. When I found this tutorial on how to turn ordinary wrapping paper into a gift bag I was so pleased, because all my kids were having separate Christmas parties, which meant separate party favors and gifts for three sets of kids. I wanted to have all these bags made so I could just hand them to my kids and let them label them and fill them up with whatever they wanted to go to each different person. I started by getting a large piece of wrapping paper and folding it in half and then folding the sides into the center crease.
