This “peaks” pattern almost reminds me of candy corn— they’re so cute and absolutely perfect for fall! I knew I had to make this as soon as I saw it, especially since the pattern is free!

Once again, I went to Jordan Fabrics‘ YouTube channel to find a pattern I loved. That’s never hard to do on their channel, and they had just posted this video, so I was beyond excited.

There isn’t a lot of fabric needed to make this project either, so not only is it a fantastic addition to your collection, it’s cost-efficient and simple to put together!

All you need to make this quilt is:

  • 12 fat quarters (these often come in bundles)
  • 4 7/8 yards background print of your choice.

You can also find a free PDF of the pattern by clicking here. The pattern is easy to follow, and the tutorial below makes it even easier!

Making the triangles involves pressing your fat quarters flat, cutting them into equal strips, then sewing those strips together in different color combinations. Cut into triangles.

Sew those to your background fabric, which is also cut into triangular shapes, and then you can arrange it into the adorable quilt you see below!
