Sewing Room Decor

When it comes to sewing rooms, the decor is usually lacking. In fact, they often look pretty boring. The sewing machine seems to always be the focal point, and that needs to change.

A sewing room is supposed to bring you a ton of joy. It’s where your projects are made, and where you go to relax and unwind… so why not decorate it how you want it?

YouTuber Dayna Creates draws a quilt block and mounts it in a gorgeous wooden frame to decorate her space. It got me to thinking… why not do that with an actual quilt block?

Options

There are so many different patterns and colors to choose from, so much so that you wouldn’t have to worry about it not matching your decor. You can put it in any frame you’d like, too!

Even better, you can hang multiple gorgeous blocks on the wall and create a quilting gallery wall. With every project you finish, create one extra block, then frame it to add to your wall.

It’s like decoration and a project in one… what could be better than that?

If you’d rather not use fabric to create this framed block, you can use Dayna’s method, which is just as stunning and will fit just as well in your quilting space.

Good Luck!
