“Two Steps” Quilt
Recently, I stumbled upon the easiest quilt ever, and I mean the easiest quilt ever. Once the blocks are arranged, it looks like a super intricate hard-to-make quilt… no one would be able to tell how easy it was!
The name is exactly what it is– this “two step” quilt is finished in two easy steps. Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Company gets her quilt done in what seems like the blink of an eye.
So, do you want to learn how to make it yourself? Let’s get started. Here’s how.
How To Make It
Step one: sew pairs of strips together. Step two: sew together the block from those strips and a background square.
You’ll need to get your primary “blocks” together in order to get the final block finished. Grab a background square and make a square of the same size out of two of the colorful strips.
Once those two are sewn side by side, add another pair of sewn strips along those blocks to create a larger square. That’s it, your block is done!
Watch Jenny sew up this block in her video tutorial below. Then, you can get started making your own quilt just like her!
