A Salad Anyone Will Eat
I’m not a huge fan of salads. As good as they are for you, they usually aren’t as delicious as say, a steak. Unless it’s this salad, that is. This salad? I would rather have it than a steak!
No matter what you serve this with, salad haters are guaranteed to eat this with their meal… it’s really that good! Wanna make it yourself? Here’s how:
For this tasty salad, you will need:
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 4 roma tomatoes, cubed
- 1 large or 3 small avocados, cubed
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 lemon
- salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
Making The Salad
Start by washing all of your fruits and vegetables. Slice your whole cucumber in half, then slice it into half rounds. Slice your tomatoes in half and cube them. Do the same with the avocado.
Slice up your onion, then toss all of the ingredients you sliced and diced together in a bowl. Cut open your lemon and squeeze the juice over the salad. Season with salt & pepper, then pour over your olive oil.
Toss the salad together. Then, chop up your cilantro, add that in, and toss the salad again.
Serve alongside any main course, and even salad haters will be eating it up… yum!
