There’s nothing better than an easy quilt with a ton of personality. This binding tool star fits the bill.

I love this easy quilt not only because of how simple it is to make, but because of how stunning the finished product truly ends up being. It’s simple yet eye-catching, and I adore it.

Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Company is back at it again, stitching this quilt up to perfection. Wanna learn how to do it yourself? Simple! Let’s get started.

Here’s what you’re gonna need:

Simple Stitching

Jenny uses a template to make this quilt, which you can buy by clicking here. If you don’t want to buy that, you can always make your own template in a similar shape!

The block is pretty simple: just use the template to create varying lengths of the strip. The background fabric is one solid color, and you’ll cut those pieces into squares and triangles like Jenny shows.

Once you’ve completed the 4 blocks (yes, there’s only 4 total), you can stitch them together and create a border out of little strips of coordinating fabric.

Add your batting, backing, and the border, you’re done! Watch Jenny stitch it up in the video below, then you too can create this stunner.

Good luck!
