I love Jell-O. I love soda. I never thought there would be a way to combine those two loves, but I was wrong. It’s so easy to make, and so much fun to play with!
No matter what soda is your favorite soda, you can make this fun to eat Jell-O. Give it a shot and see what I mean! Here’s how it’s done.
How It’s Made
First, pour your soda of choice into a tea pot or a sauce pan to boil it. In the meantime, remove the label from your soda bottle carefully.
Spray the inside of your soda bottle with cooking spray while you boil your soda. Get some Jell-O ready. This could be any flavor you’d like to work with your soda of choice.
For example, a lemon or a lime flavor would work well with Mountain Dew, and a cherry would go well with Coca Cola or Dr. Pepper. You could even go flavorless. Have fun and be creative!
Add your boiling soda to the Jell-O, then mix well until dissolved. Pour the mixture into your greased soda bottle, screw the cap on, and pop it in the fridge until it’s set.
Use an X-acto knife to cut the bottle away from the Jell-O. For decoration, you can place the cap on top and/or the label around the Jell-O bottle.
Now, you’re ready to slice and eat! Whether you’re using it for fun or are actually craving some soda-flavored Jell-O, you’re going to love playing with it and eating it.
