I don’t know about you, but during the summer, I love having a nice cold drink while I’m lounging in the pool as well. That’s where this pool noodle hack comes in.

You can make a cooler with some cheap supplies, including a pool noodle! It’s fast, it’s easy, it’s cheap, and the end product is something you’ll use all the time, guaranteed.

Wanna make it yourself? Let’s get started by grabbing some supplies first, shall we?

Here’s what you’ll need to make this:

  • a plastic tub to hold your drinks of choice
  • your drinks of choice
  • ice
  • pool noodle
  • thick string, preferably waterproof
  • permanent marker
  • knife
  • scissors
  • tape measurer

How It’s Made

Cut apart your pool noodle, using the tape measurer to measure 4 pieces that coincide with the edges of your plastic tub.

Then, thread your string through these pieces of pool noodle, tie it off, and place it on the tub which will allow it to float. The video shows this in more detail.

Fill your tub with ice and your drinks of choice, and let it float! This hack is perfect for pool parties, family gatherings, and more. You’re gonna love it!
