I love anything miniature, I have several fairy gardens and I secretly would love a dollhouse. So when I saw this DIY Mini Snow Scene In A Wine Glass, I was blown away, I had to make some and I had to make them quick! When I went shopping at Dollar Tree for these items I realized this was a very inexpensive DIY, so I got a lot of supplies to make a bunch to give away as gifts to the children at my church. I bought ten mini-village snow scene characters and ten wine glasses all for a dollar each. Then I put the glass top down on the cardboard and traced a circle and cut it out, (I did this 10 times for each mini snow scene).
Then I cut some old batting I had in a circle and hot glued it to the cardboard circle and then hot glued the miniature snow characters to the batting.
Then I tied a cute Christmas ribbon around the stem of the glass and filled the glass one fourth the way full with my fake snow flurries and then put hot glue around the circumference of my glass lip. I actually made a little shelf out of cardboard to use ad a guide because I didn’t want to risk getting any glue inside the glass.
Then I just attached the bottom cardboard snow scene and turned the glass upside down and the snow sprinkled all my characters beautifully. When I brought these DIY Mini Snoe Scenes In A Glass to Church and gave them to all the children they could not stop smiling.
