I live in a very small apartment and I love decorating for Christmas, it’s a real dilemma for me because every inch of space is precious to me and my three wonderful dogs and two cats who all love to get into everything. Then I found this excellent Youtube video on how to make a wall hanging Christmas Tree, I couldn’t believe I had found the answer to my problems! I was so excited I was going to be able to make my own tree in any size I wanted and decorate it as opulently as I wanted and it was going to be well out of reach from my fur babies. The entire Wall Mounted Christmas Tree project was so easy and cheap, I only used Flexible Pine Garland and Gue Dots Perforated Hang Tabs. The first thing I did was to make a tree shape outline on my wall to use as a guide.
Then I just began to mount my garland by sticking it through the perforated parts of the hang tab and peeling back the sticky part and sticking it to the wall.
Then I just continued to secure the garland to the wall with the hang tabs, fluffing it up and balancing it along the way. The Hang Ties by Glue Dots were very discrete and were virtually invisible. The next part of the project was the most fun, decorating! I just decorated my gorgeous, cheap and easy DIY Wall Mounted Christmas Tree with every ornament I had, it looked so great! In the end, I decided to build a base for the tree, but this is completely optional.
This project went beyond all my expectations, I really love it!
